Why can't I see someone's Instagram story or download it?
Usually it expired, was deleted, is private or Close Friends only, or was hidden from you. Every reason a story won't show or download, and the fix.
Do Instagram highlights expire, and who can see them?
No. Highlights stay on your profile until you remove them. Who can see them, how the 48-hour viewer list works, and how to edit or delete one.
Does Instagram notify when you screenshot or download a story?
No. Instagram sends no alert when you screenshot, record or download a story. Disappearing photos in DMs are the exception. Every case, checked.
How to download an entire Instagram highlight to your camera roll
Copy the highlight link, paste it into a highlights downloader and tap Download all as ZIP. Every story saves in order, on iPhone, Android or PC.
How to download Instagram stories
Download Instagram stories in three steps on iPhone, Android or PC: copy the story link or type the username, tap Download, then save the photo or video.
Can people see if you view their Instagram story?
Yes. Watch a story in the Instagram app while signed in and the account sees your name on its viewer list for 48 hours. What it can see, and what it can't.
