Any other names, logos and trademarks mentioned on the site belong to their owners and are used only to describe what the site works with.

2. We do not host any content

The site does not host, upload or publish any photos, videos, stories, reels or other content. Everything you see through it belongs to the person or account that posted it on Instagram. When you look up a story or a post, the site fetches that public content from Instagram's servers at your request and passes it on to your device. Results are kept for about ten minutes so they load quickly again; no copy of a downloaded file stays with the site.

3. You are responsible for what you download

The site is meant for personal, non-commercial use. You are solely responsible for what you look up, download and do with it. In particular, you agree to:

• download only content you own, or content you have the owner's permission to use;
• respect copyright, trademarks and other people's privacy and image rights;
• not re-upload, sell, publish or pass off anyone's content as your own without permission;
• follow Instagram's Terms of Use and the laws that apply where you live.

Saving a public story does not give you any right to reuse it. When in doubt, ask the person who posted it.

4. Public accounts only

The site works only with content that is already public on Instagram. It cannot and does not show private accounts, Close Friends stories or anything that has been deleted or has expired, and it does not get around any privacy setting. When nothing appears, the account is either private or has nothing up right now, and the site cannot tell which.

5. No warranty

The site is provided “as is” and “as available”, free of charge, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not promise that it will always be available, that every story or post can be found or saved, that results are complete, or that files will arrive in a particular quality. Instagram can change how it works at any time, and features of the site may stop working as a result. Rate limits apply: after many lookups within one minute, the site asks you to wait up to a minute.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, storydownload and the people who run it are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of the site or of any content you download through it, including any claim by a third party about that content.

7. Third-party links and ads

The site links to other websites, including Instagram's Help Center, and may show advertisements. We do not control those sites or ads and are not responsible for their content, offers or privacy practices.

8. Copyright complaints

If you believe content shown through the site infringes your copyright, see our DMCA and copyright policy and write to dmca@instagram-story-download.net. Because the site does not host content, the fastest way to have something removed everywhere is to report it to Instagram as well.
